The Day 5,000 Students From NYC’s Biggest High School Said ‘Enough Is Enough’

March 14, 2018

With some 5,800 students, Brooklyn Technical High School is the largest high school in the largest school district in the country. It’s an elite, admissions-tested public high school specializing in STEM, and the poise, passion, and political acumen of its students was clear to see when an estimated 5,000 of them took part in National Walkout Day. The 74’s Video Director James Fields was there as they streamed through the doors, carrying signs and chanting “Enough is enough,” and took over Fort Greene Place in a show of solidarity with students across the country vowing to end school shootings.
