Kari Patrick is a high school English teacher at STEAM Academy in Lexington, Kentucky. A member of the STEAM Teacher Advisory Council, Kari has taught in both rural and urban settings, and was recognized in 2016 as the Kentucky Council of Teachers of English High School Teacher of the Year. She also serves as senior adviser on teacher outreach and innovation for Educators for High Standards.
